Abundance 2010 Elegante Rosé
Rosé of Carignane which is a novelty in itself. Look for over ripe strawberries in the nose. A sweet and delightful little Rosé with a dabble of tartness. Not very complex but its not trying to either. Great Rosé for wine newbies at a great price point. Solid finish as well.

Aromas of strawberries and toasted oak flow from the glass of this bright coral colored wine. As the name implies, this is a round, rich and seductively elegant wine, well suited for a candle lit dinner for 2 special people. A very long, pleasing finish follows a rich entry of oak, strawberries, peaches, and a hint of rhubarb. Our 2009 Elegante is a delicately balanced wine which will enhance the flavors of delicate dishes such as roast turkey or smoked duck and beet salad with a light balsamic dressing. A serious wine harvested from the second vineyard planted by the Mencarini family, this wine speaks truths to its varietal and character.”
