Bouchaine 2009 Pinot Noir
Plum notes and black fruit are well blended in the nose and in the mouth. Second swirl and sniff might sneak hints of coffee. Acidic finish is unexpected and could easily pose as a Zin in disguise.

Winemaker Notes: “This particular Pinot Noir stands out as a sophisticated and elegant wine with a silky, lingering finish. The wine exudes darker fruit characteristics of Satsuma plums, like the trees that border the front of the winery, and dark cherry highlights. Bacon and Sumatran coffee flavors provide depth with hings of clove and nutmeg, creating a mosaic of sensations to savor.”
