Touriga! Smells of bright red fruit with a flare. Not sure what that is but its working for me. Oak notes tie is all together nicely. Nicely acidic vibe on the palate which makes it interesting. It gets rascally mid palate and the acids keep you guessing. The finish is long and fruity. Not so bold that it requires food but pairings would be welcome. Not bad.

Winemaker Notes: “Grapes sourced from Lodi. Touriga is a Portuguese varietal and one of the primary grapes used in Portugal in the production of Port. It is less frequently used in the production of dry wine and rarely as a varietal. The Touriga has flavors of orange peel and lychee fruit with notes of holiday spice. Pairs well with grill-smoked salmon or coconut shrimp with Thai chili sauce.
