“This used to be my spot before COVID! A great spot in Handle District in midtown Sac. Wine list was only average but the vibe was great. Had a seasonally changing wine list, some big name and some imported wines and a full kitchen. Bar, couch and high-top table seating. Happy Hour to early evening is crowded and lively. Tables are available to enjoy a full dinner. Small patio with cafe tables. We don’t go anymore. The new owners are not wine-centric so the wine program has dropped from average. They upgraded their liquor license to included a well and beer. I think they forgot it was supposed to be a wine bar and messed it up. I cruise by all the time and it’s empty. I miss the way it used to be and many others feel the same. Such is the way of things.”
