Helwig 2012 Zinfandel
Raspberry and spice. Smells big. Full of sharp tannins as soon as it jumps onto your palate. Once they get there they bounce around. Whoa big fella. The big acids feel as though they are there to keep the party moving. Its a big party. With so much going gone, I can’t imagine anything but a ridiculously long finish. At the very end I got a great spike in sour raspberry. Didn’t expect that at all.
