K&S Comments:
“Tasted Ballentine Zin at ZinEx years ago. (By the way, Ballentine is pronounced like Valentine.) Loved their style and added them to my “taste soon” list in Napa but took me years to actually make it to the winery. I have actually tasted every winery around Ballentine, even spent considerable time next door. My appointment was long over due. Their light-handed style is not just in their Zin. The merlot got my attention while I sipped on the soft gravel patio within a few arms lengths of the vineyard. Did I mention they have a Chenin Blanc on the menu? Yeah… there’s that. Not exactly common in Napa.
