Carvalho 2012 Tempranillo
Gentle and easy raspberry and boysenberry notes in the nose. Bigger than average tannins gets the mouth chalky in a hurry. Tongue scraper please. The big red fruit keeps rolling down your palate with angular acidity. The finish is long with a few bumps along the way. Leaves a few spices to hang around. Don’t expect them to go anywhere fast.
