I sat with my nose dug into this Merlot, Cab Franc, Cab Sauv blend for almost 5 minutes. It took me there. Memories of warm buttered toast on a rainy day and opening blackberry jam as your mouth waters in anticipation. I always love how olfactory memories emerge from the depths of your mind with just the right trigger. So cool.
Easy going as it hits your palate. A blend of spices and acidity drum together in a crescendo of intensity. She’s feisty on the back of your palate and unapologetic to boot. A minx. A wine for the mature but playful sensibility.
