“As always, I made all these plans and they fell through so I spun the wheel. Frequency was the first place I stumbled upon from where I parked in downtown Santa Barbara so I strolled in as they were opening. The food truck was getting their lobster rolls ready for lunch service on the patio and folks were starting to flow into the patio like a bell chimed or something. Santa Barbara patio, mission style, faint smell of the ocean and coastal foliage… yeah, it’s a nice place to sip some wine. You can make reservations but I got the feeling that most folks just walked in or were meeting others there for an afternoon sip or two. Based on the rate the crowd grew while I was there, not to mention once the live music got set up, you’ll probably want to make a reservation on the weekend.”
