Hazelfern

"Taking our name from the old Hazel Fern Farm in Portland, our journey from 5-gallon carboys in our basement to our historic Chehalem mountains farmhouse, has been a wild ride since 2006. Sparked by the loss of a young family member and quarter-life crisis in 2014, we traded in our daily commute for a tractor and the wine life."

Visit Reflection

“I visited Hazelfern on a weekday and it was a laid-back, warm summer day. There was one other couple visiting so our treatment was top-tier. Izzy took great care of us and was there for wine geek questions as well as affable chatter. I knew nothing of this brand before visiting. I assumed it was the typical Chard/Pinot house that Willamette is so well-known for. Hazelfern however is a good blend between that older, “steady” vibe with a healthy dose of hipster, honor the old but break the rules vibe. They have a Chardonnay flight that is called “Chardy Party.” Yeah, that’s good times. I wish their Trousseau was open when I visited because it’s my jam!”
