“While Turley is one of the “older dogs” in the Amador region, I resisted going for many years. I’m not sure why, I think my lean toward smaller brands always pushed them to the back of my planning sheet. This summer I finally went and it was a treat. I have done press for Zin events for years so Zin is by far not new to me. However, Turley specializes in making well, refined Zinfandel. Each has unique presence and personality which is not often the case in a Zin house. This is a solid choice for stops in Amador.”
