As is common, an appointment fell through so I gave Turtle Rock a call and they said, “Come on by!” A tight-nit family group working the vineyards to the tasting room. Locals bop in likely due to the deep roots in Paso. These aren’t wine folks that have relocated here. They are born and raised Paso. I tasted inside the tasting room but realized that the orientation of their front patio on the East side of the building makes it a great last tasting appointment of the day on a warm Paso afternoon because it will be completely covered in shade. Definitely a note to self for my next visit.”
