M2 2011 Old Vine Zinfandel
There is nothing little about this guy. Go big or go home! Smells regal. I know its zin but my nose started thinking Big Cab. Plum, blueberry and some blackberries will float around like they own the place. Very big but also welcoming.
Pepper and assorted spices on the palate. They won’t wait for you to get ready or be coy. The finish is like watching a royal procession walk away. You know its over and you begin to grasp the magnitude. I love that there was no shortage of “Zrroooom” in the glass. At 15.6%, expect it to make a statement while at the same time maintaining elegance. Big but not overwhelming. Well done for sure.
