2017 Lodi Vintners • Part 1
I decided to head to Lodi on a relaxing Spring Saturday to drop by some new wineries. I decided to start in the Acampo area, just north of Lodi proper, which is small in area but rich in wine.
My first stop was Lodi Vintners. This property has a long history of making lots of wine. I haven’t visited since the last winery, Cycles Gladiator, closed up shop and headed back to their roots in the Central Coast.
Lodi Vintners is owned by the Rippey Family who also make wine in Sonoma out of Carneros Vintners. That allows you to taste Lodi wine side by side with Napa and Sonoma wine which is a real treat!
