“Benom is a play on words, in French, for a job together. This brand was built by two French brothers. The older brother, Arnaud, is the owner of Clos Selene. Guillaume, 10 years his younger, and he started Clos Selene together. How two French brothers ended up in Paso Robles is another story but one you should ask about when you visit. Winemaking style is very detail oriented, minimal intervention with a healthy dose of old world stylings. Definitely a solid tasting. Best time to visit is late Spring and early summer when the whole tasting room and the outside deck flow together in one large fluid space. It’s a fantastic use of a small, industrial space. In fact, you will likely forget where you are during the tasting. I loved their juice”
