Clos Selene

“This is our dream becoming reality. We invested the small savings we had, worked and still work as much as possible to, first, make elegant wine with character and personality, but also to develop a relationship with the persons who are supporting us in this endless work.” – Solène Fabre

“Vineyards in the rolling hills are magical. You wind and twist, you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere and then a manicured tasting venue appears. The tasting area, mostly outside, sits beneath a large hillside vineyard and adjacent another. The tasting room sits adjacent to the production facility so during harvest, it is bustling with activity. I love it when I find a brand and you hear active English, French and Spanish being spoken in the workplace. I’ve only found this to be true in a few spots but I didn’t expect it in Paso Robles. Wines are manicured and well thought. You can easily break the bank with these wines. They are delightful.”
