E16

"Founder Robert Jones purchased Firefall's El Dorado County estate vineyards with the dream of honoring his grandfather's wine growing legacy. Committed to sustainable farming, the year-round nurturing of each vine culminates in hand harvested grapes that are fermented and aged with the lightest possible touch to create wines expressing a sense of place and distinction in the bottle."

“I met E16 at Sacramento’s 2024 Legends of Wine event. E16 was already on my list to places to visit. It was highly recommended by a few local wine personalities, especially those with a more travelled palates. I must admit that I was thrown for a few loops as I expected a style of wine that most foothill brands adhere. That was definitely not the case at E16. To start, they have  have Pinot Noir from Russian River Valley. Talk about a head turner. There is little to no Pinot in the hills because it won’t grow up there and very few brands have any fruit from Pinot growing regions. What a treat! They Syrah is also a must try so don’t miss it when you visit. E16 is a head-scratcher in the best way possible. I haven’t even gotten to the wild west saloon bar yet! You’ll have to check it out.”
