Element 79

"Gold, the 79th element on the periodic table, was the inspiration for our name. More than just the symbol for the gold on the vine and in the bottle, the name was also inspired by our love of the region and a recognition of its importance in our nation's history as the location that began the legendary California Gold Rush. Most importantly, 1979 was the year that we were married and began the partnership that has made us rich in life and gave us the opportunity to achieve our dreams."

“Element 79 takes their name from Gold being the 79th element and Les and Sharon the owners were married in 1979. They have built a tasting room/production facility that blends modern and rustic cabin. Most tastings happen on their patio that sits adjacent to one of their vineyards and it’s gorgeous. You really feel out in the hills with this tasting. However the EV charging and posh pairings keeps it a little chic as well. I think I’m bringing my hiking boots on my next visit to check out their hiking tour.”
