Mettler

"Our family has been farming wine grapes in the Lodi Appellation since the late 1800s. As one of Lodi’s oldest farming families, we take a lot of pride in farming our vineyards both organically and sustainably. Integrity for the land along with responsible farming practices ensures that our wine grapes are of the highest quality for our wines. Our family is involved from the vineyard to the bottle; growing, harvesting, trucking, winemaking and sales."

“Mettler is one of the older families in Lodi. They have quite a few generations in the area and been a farming family for even longer. They are one of the early adopters of making their vineyard organic and sustainable which is something that many of us look for when choosing a place to taste. The tasting room is a nice space as is the crushed granite and adjoining covered patio for outdoor tastings. A picnic by the pond will feel like you are transported somewhere far a way and back  in time. The weeping willow and the vineyard in the background is serene.”
