Toogood

"Toogood Estate Winery, established in 2001, is part of the Fair Play AVA, nestled within the beautiful Sierra Foothills. The 40-acre estate is home to an incredible 5,000 sq. foot wine cave which is naturally climate controlled and includes the tasting room. The estate also boasts a 12-acre vineyard, a hillside terrace, an event center and rooftop patio."

“When I planned this day, I inadvertently planned two different brands who have Marco Capelli as their winemaker. The foothills is full of acreage but a rather small community. TooGood’s tasting room is inside their wine cave. Not too many of these in the foothills despite it being Gold Country. Tasting in the cave is cool as is their huge waterfall side patio with a stunning valley view. Options are always good. Lots of options on their tasting list as well. They make quite a few different wines. Something for many different palates.”
