Medlock Ames 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon

Medlock Ames 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon

Raspberries, rhubarb and oak. Demonstrative nose for sure. The palate is every so slightly sweet almost reminiscent of a pie. The tannins are dusty and slowly fill your palate. A bit overwhelming actually. They keep coming. I don’t think they want to leave… Solid finish. Shows big and begs for a food pairing.  • 887 cases

Tasting NotesEach one of the small Cabernet blocks that we farm was picked, sorted and fermented separately to provide us with a variety of components from which to construct this classic Bell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon. Highly concentrated with bright aromas of raspberry, red cherry and cassis, this wine shows plenty of concentration while filling the palate with exceptionally round, lush tannins. Hints of sweet oak, clove, and cinnamon spice round out the finish. …”
