Miner’s Leap 2010 Delta Jewel Cabernet Sauvignon
Assorted berries in the nose with peppers and spice on the tongue. A bit of plum finds its way into the back of the nose after some heavy swirling. Black cherry merges on the mid-palate which I found a bit surprising. Didn’t see that coming. There are other grapes at work in the structure which give it plenty of character. However, the sneaky bold tannins reminds you it’s a Cab and not to be trifled with.
