The Crusher 2008 Pinot Noir
I found dark cocoa!! My nose was shocked as its not a typical note in Pinot Noir. It’s followed by dark berry notes along with typical cherry notes. The smooth tannins are welcomed on your tongue with a slight acidic bite in the mid palate. The finish was not to bad. I was intrigued for sure.

Winemaker Notes: “A dark strawberry color with a touch of translucence, this Pinot Noir is powerfully aromatic, with notes of sassafras, dark cherry, and caramelized oak nuance. Juicy and rich, this wine is jammy and fruit-driven with plum and dark fruit flavors. Earthy notes and a hint of porcini mushroom on the back end help to balance out the intense fruit flavor and create deeper complexity. Full-bodied, the finish is long with a touch of grip and lingering cedar aromatics.”
