Villa San-Juliette 2010 Petit Verdot
So floral in the nose with some good old fashioned sweet. Smells pretty. Think blooming flower garden under a bakers kitchen window. The aromatics are unreal. Gets pointed on the palate. The tannins are spunky. Wild acidic structure but on a leash. Expect a nice an long finish. Would be great with food and I am not one to suggest pairings. • 228 cases

Winemaker Notes: “The nose has aromas of crème Brulee, violets, and mocha. There is a pop of bittersweet chocolate and coffee upon attack followed by flavors of cranberry and toffee. The tannins are quite powerful but integrated. Dusty all the way through the mouth. A pretty thread of acidity suspends the flavors well into the finish. This is a wine that would pair well with duck in a dark fruit reduction, lamb in a red wine reduction on a bed of couscous, or an appetizer of foie gras.”
