In this Episode…
We caught up with Sue Tipton, owner/winemaker, in the Picpoul Blanc vineyard and I am in heaven! We are walking in 1 of about 50 acres of this variaetal in the country. This is not a commonly made wine in the states; around the world for that matter. The wine geek in me loves to learn from winemakers and experts on what it takes to grow good wine grapes. Wine Geek time!
Sue and Rodney Tipton are proof that “good people make good wine.” This adorable couple though their blood, sweat, tears and purposeful vision have created one of the most delightful wineries in the Lodi AVA. Lodi is known for big Zinfandel and bold reds but Acquiesce has neither. One sparkling, one rosé and the rest of the list is all white wines and they are amazing!
