We’re still wandering the vineyard at Acquiesce. Sue Tipton tells why she chose to plant Picpoul Blanc in Lodi and I just had to taste an unripped, very acidic grape. The wine geek in me just couldn’t resist. My facial expression says it all.
Sue and Rodney Tipton are proof that “good people make good wine.” This adorable couple though their blood, sweat, tears and purposeful vision have created one of the most delightful wineries in the Lodi AVA. Lodi is known for big Zinfandel and bold reds but Acquiesce has neither. One sparkling, one rosé and the rest of the list is all white wines and they are amazing!
