Banshee 2012 Sullivan Vineyard Pinot Noir

Your nose will be full of white pepper.  I couldn’t crack what the next smell I was getting until my wife chimed in and saved my nose.  Think about the smell of “flour browning when you are making biscuits.”  Dang that woman!  She was right on.  Whatever that smell was, it was good.

Pepper continues on the palate and is the engine of this wine.  The tannin structure plays along and helps it go big.  This pinot is not for the shy palate.
