Carvalho 2012 Barrel to Bottle Blend
A Zin and Syrah blend. It’s an old style. Not completely filtered so don’t panic when you notice it’s a bit cloudy. That can be unsettling for some. For me it’s a great part of the adventure. The wine geek in me loves it.
She’s a young rascal. The tannins get lateral in a hurry. The spice finish is full of tart “smackems.” Yup, I just made that up. It’s big. The finish is long almost by default.
