Helwig 2013 Viognier
A pale looking white. It deceived me into thinking it’s tint was a character hint.
White peach and honeysuckle. I kept digging back in because I felt like I was missing something. I think it is pineapple. It’s complex. The aromatics are gentle like the color. Just so you know, she is a diva and she will make you wait. In fact, you may make up your mind about this wine and then… the lights will come on and she’ll make her appearance on stage. Acids are full of citrus and delayed so be patient. Nice layers in this wine. Having to wait also makes the adventure fun. Just remember, wait for it! Finishes very well. Great show.
