Jessie’s Grove 2008 Caringnane

I’m so blueberry, blueberry, blue…!  Carignane is definitely an acquired taste.  These vines are old which you definitely taste in the wine.  It is mellow.  Hints of sweet hickory left on the palate with soft spices.  Not a bad finish.  That wasn’t bad, especially since I really dislike that hickory flavor in wine.
