Chateau de Vaugaudry 2010 Chinon

Rubarb and dusty floral notes are a bit shy to reveal themselves so be patient. “Dorothy, we’re not in Napa any more.”  This darlin is well balanced and easy on the mid-palate. A sour acidity plays on the rear palate.  Begins to finish on that complex sour note and then a “second finish” of sweet dances on stage briefly and then its gone.  Interesting number.
