LangeTwins 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon
Is that warm chocolate that just rushed into my nose? Wait, where did it go? Sneaky little aroma.
I think this was just opened. It feels a bit tight. In fact, it could easily sleep for a few more years before it really comes of age. Pepper on the palate but not overdone accompanied by a quick rush of assorted berry flavors. I am not big on pairings but I felt like this just begged to be served with fresh salmon grilled with sea salt and onion. I enjoyed the tannin structure. You definitely found yourself in “Cab Country” with this guy. Nice finish that left you remembering that you were enjoying a nice cab.

Winemaker Notes: “Our 2009 vintage is distinctly Cabernet with concentrated aromas of vibrant ripe cherry with a trace of chocolate. The aroma mingles with flavors of fresh cherry and dark blackberry notes which are balanced by a mellow spice from nine months of oak barrel aging.”
