“This is Apple Hills charm. A family planted grapes in 1973 surrounded by chaparral forest, pines and manzanitas. You get out of your car and are greeted with the wonderful smell of going to camp. Paul is the winemaker and he grew up playing in these vineyards. He knows them like his backyard because it literally has been his backyard for decades. Terroir driven wines and they can’t be from anywhere else. If you aren’t warmly welcomed into their humble tasting room, I will eat my hat. There is no shortage of hospitality and charm here.”
