“On this day, I pulled into the driveway always looking for a new wine adventure. It looks more like a typical farm than a winery tasting room. They were full into harvest and all hands in on the sorting table. Being the people they are, the Spenker crew not only welcomed me with huge smiles but asked if I would hop on the table with them for a chat. I knew I was going to like these folks. We got to talking about their goats, their creamery and how they fell in love over making wine back in the day. This is not the place to bring your dogs to keep the goats safe and happy. It is also not a picnic spot but they have some nibbles to purchase with your tasting. In fact, try their wine and cheese pairing. It’s the perfect pairing on a warm Spring day.”
