Michael David 2011 Ancient Vine Cinsault

Soft cherries and maybe plum in the nose.  Nothing is going to jump out and grab ya here.  A nice gentle red that wants to take a slow walk through the park.  Wine newbies, this maybe just up your alley if you are looking to get into reds.  I really enjoyed the finish.

Retail: $25.00

(K&S Rating: 4 of 6)

Winemaker Notes: “The lightest red produced at Michael David. Our 09′ Cinsault is soft on the palate with very light tannins and minimal oak influence giving way to flavors of dried cranberries, tart cherry and cola.”
