Scribner Bend 2009 Black Hat Tempranillo
Tart red fruit and yummy vanilla are hesitant to emerge until coaxed. Once you dig in, the bold fruit hugs your tongue and won’t let go anytime soon. You can look forward to spices fading in and out during the long finish. Great find for a winery 10 minutes south of downtown Sacramento, California. Go figure.

Winemaker’s Notes: “The 2009 Tempranillo is full of vanilla, cranberry, plum spice and dark berry flavors and has a captivating long, soft, lingering finish. With it’s velvety tannic structure and fruit forward nature our Tempranillo invites even those that shy away from red wines to sip and enjoy. Pair with duck, venison, barbequed meats, tapas or fajitas.”
