Turley 2009 Howell Mountain Zinfandel

Been waiting to pop this rascal.  I heard it is a bold Zin that will hold well so I decided to let it lay down for a while.  To be honest, it could have gone a few more years.  Bold, wet raspberries ripe with oak notes and hints of cocoa.  At over 16%, the structure is wild but not reckless.  Once on the palate, you are treated to plenty of pepper flavors on the rear palate and a long finish.  She’s a doozy!
