Vina Robles 2010 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
Cherries and licorice are easily noted. The tannins are solid and to the point. It’s not overwhelming but not beating around the bush either. Finish with more licorice tones. Ends curtly. No formal goodbye, long embrace or even a casual wave. I appreciate the simplicity and structure, not to mention the price point. Unfortunately, its not my style of Cab.
Retail: $24

Winemaker Notes:
• Color: Garnet
• Aroma: Cherry and dark currants with hints of licorice and fine tobacco
