Bray Vineyards 2010 Sangiovese
Black cherry yumminess with some plum and maybe a hint of licorice. Big sour smack as soon as it hits your palate. I heard someone else in the tasting room literally smack their lips after they had their first taste. The tannins are chalky and all over the place. It spreads and spreads and spreads which helps it mellow quickly. Finishes even. The big sour grants a wet finish. Sounds like a big pasta wine to me!

Winemaker Notes: “All the classic Chianti style flavors are present in this Sangioveto clone wine. Rich red fruit aromas with hints of sour cherry and ripe plums are combined with a crisp lingering acidity. This wine loves food and anything Italian will work. Need we say more?“
