Clarksburg Wine Company 2011 Delta Rouge Blend

I heard this is their most popular wine.  It’s an interesting blend of Pinot Noir, Merlot and Cabernet Franc.  If they have any left when you stop by the Old Sugar Mill, make sure you pick up a bottle just because the production is so limited.

Light and fruity in the nose.  The raspberries and floral bouquet is ridiculous.  Light on the tongue and only slightly acidic which is a marvel with the fruit driving this wine.  This is a great red for our emerging wine snobs looking to try a bolder red.
