Jessie’s Grove 2010 Estate Petite Sirah

Dark inky color that you can’t see through.  This is a blend of their 2008 and 2010 of all things.  My nose thought, or hoped, this was going to be a jammy dream. Tart blackberries and/or raspberries drive the flavor.   Not totally balanced but not a rocky ride.  Look for spices to appear rear palate.  The finish brought some interest.  I found it a tough buy at the price point.
