Furioso

“Furioso is on a road where there are many wine brands to choose from. They don’t look like much from the street but looks can be deceiving. As you walk along the building to the door to the tasting room, you quickly realize that the building is perched on the edge of the hillside. Then the view smacks you in the face. The outer wall of the tasting room is glass so you don’t miss any part of the 180º view from that perch in Dundee Hills. Not only are their tastings fantastic but they have a kitchen so just make this an extended stop and do lunch as well. What a great excuse to keep staring out over the valley? One of the coolest things about Furioso is their after-hours concept. They are open until 7p, hours after everyone else has closed. This means you will likely be tasting with wine industry folks that just got off of their shift. Great way to learn about the cool spots in the valley. You can’t do a tasting during after-hours but you can grab a glass and ear hustle the locals chatting about all things wine.”
