Borjón 2012 Petite Sirah Reposado
A deep purple tint to this juice. It’s pretty! Looks big sitting in the glass. Smells of cedar and spice. Slightly tart right in the middle of your tongue. It gives you a big hug. Squeezes right on top and in the middle. Interesting experience. Tannins are robust and milky. Not a shy PS. Finish is rolling and stays with you.
Reail: $24
(K&S Rating: 3 of 6)
Winemaker Notes: “A deep, dense purple hue pre-conditions the senses on this beauty. Leather & anise aromas show first then fresh plums peek through. Bright blueberry fruit weaves seamlessly with fresh raspberries & hints of orange peel on the palate. Bold & refined tannins prove this is a true Amador County Petite Sirah. Drink now through 2018.”
