Michael David 2010 Earthquake Petite Sirah

Muted raspberries and strawberry jam.  The acid structure isn’t for wimps but I guess with a name like Earthquake, it wasn’t supposed to be subtle.  The finish is long and substantial with  high tart notes on roof of your mouth on the rear palate.

Winemaker Notes: “Big, brash, and bold efforts aimed at folks who want lots of up front fruit! Deep dark plum, blackberry, and black raspberry fruit characteristics are prominent throughout the deeply layered palate of this wine along with plum pudding spices. All of those fruit flavors and spices carry though the finish along with bits of chocolate and earth.”
