Peirano Estate 2011 Tempranillo
Blackberries, coffee and hickory are dominant in the nose. Touches of pepper on the palate with plenty of acidity to go around. The finish is short without much complexity.

Winemaker’s (Tasting) Notes: “The color of this wine is a vibrant deep garnet. The aromas of ripe blackberries, cassis and hints of coffee are complimented with balanced oak and leather notes. The flavors are forward with black fruit and ample acidity and soft tannins. The wine is ready to drink, but will continue to age over the next 5 to 8 years.”
