Story Wines 2010 Barbera
A mixed berry and earth nose. Maybe some musk adds to the complexity. They are a delight to your nose.
This is a big wine and I do mean big. Sweet berries jump onto your tongue with a spice or two. A little sweet with a hint of spice. The bold acid structure is not to be out done. It roars. The rear palate gets tart as the tannins exert their round playfulness. They are big but soft like a fluffy polar bear without a care in the world. The finish is long and rewarding. A great dynamic adventure.

Winemaker’s Notes: “A mixture of plum, tobacco, and floral hints greet the nose. Flavors of black plums and cranberries combine with ample acidity in the mouth. This medium-bodied wine finishes with tart fruit and hints of oak. Enjoy!”
