VML 2012 Earth Pinot Noir
The nose is black cherry, spice and everything nice. The mouth is acid driven and not shy. The tannins are feisty which made me think of food pairings which I rarely consider. I think the right dish would bring make this rascal jump! Bold and beautiful.

Winemaker Notes: “This is the first wine to release from our Earth, Moon & Stars series. All the fruit is sourced from a variety of vineyard sites – all within the Russian River. Each wine is unique from the next due to different selections of clones, vineyard lots and barrels.
Mocha. Black Fruit. Ripe Plum. Blueberry. Dusty and fine tannins integrate well with the fruit and spice of the barrel.”
